You can now eat "no-no foods"

Hi my friend:

I got a great email early this morning from Howard asking
about "no-no foods."  Here's what he says:

*******************

We have a colitis sufferer in our family.  We do not
understand how it is that every one of your diet programs
consist of almost all items that have been called No-no's
by our family doctor?  Can you explain please?

*******************

I'm happy to explain, but first I want to clarify
something:

I don't have any "diet programs."

I have an eating plan that allows you to eat foods and
meals you'll love, while helping your body digest foods
easily and keeping acid low in the body.

Now Howard didn't say what specific "No-no" foods he was
referring to, but I suspect they were things like nuts,
seeds, tomatoes, fruit, broccoli and raw vegetables.

Those are the foods that doctors typically tell their
patients with colon challenges (like colitis, Crohn's and
diverticulitis) to stay away from.

The reason doctors tell their patients to stay away from
these foods stuffed with nutrients is that they simply
don't know any better. And don't be surprised...

Because in medical school, future doctors take ONE course
on basic nutrition.  That's it.  Incredible, isn't it?  Do
you think someone who has taken just one course in ANYTHING
has enough knowledge to be giving sound advice on that
thing?

You see, the main focus of a med-ical doctor's education
is what to do when sickness or disease occurs (med-icine or
the knife).

Drugs are where the big money is and so the pharmaceutical
companies can afford to make sure doctors are HEAVILY
educated on their latest offerings.

And unless doctors, on their own, choose to pursue more
education (and usually only holistic practitioners do),
they know zero, nothing, zilch about disease prevention and
how diet affects health.

I've studied the role of diet in health for over 16 years,
and I've lived it too (curing myself of IBS when all my
prominent gastroenterologist could do is offer useless
pills).  And this is what I say:

Most people's diets are very acidic, processed and contain
the worst combinations of foods.  Poorly combined foods
cannot be digested well by the stomach...so once they reach
the intestines, the waste doesn't move along like it should.

Instead it gets dry, hard and stuck along the colon wall.
This causes pain, constipation, and creates a breeding
ground for inflammation and disease (like diverticulosis,
diverticulitis, colitis...and even cancer).

Now, the typical "No-no" foods like nuts, seeds, tomatoes,
fruit, broccoli and raw vegetables have gotten that
reputation for two reasons:

1)  The broom effect

Many of the so-called "no-no foods" are very cleansing to
the body, and are full of fiber and nutrients.  So when
someone who has feces built up in their colon eats these
foods for the first time in months, they act...well, like a
broom.  They "clean house" so to speak.

This can be uncomfortable, but it's actually a really good
thing--you're getting cleaned from the inside.

Too bad most people (and doctors) don't understand this.

They don't understand the tremendous health benefits of
getting rid of bacteria-thriving, disease creating wastes.
They say something like, "Oh, this food caused cramping and
some diarrhea.  It must be bad for people with this
condition."  It's shocking, this level of incompetence.
But as I said, the money is in drugs.

And so the very best foods become "no-no foods," when in
reality it should be eaten all the time...as long as their
eaten in the right combinations, which will avoid the
problems.

2)  Wrongly accused

Because of the way most people eat, the no-no foods are
usually eaten with (or not long after) the wrong other
foods.

Because most people, including doctors, are clueless about
food combinations and how they affect digestion and the
body overall, when someone experiences pain, bloating, gas
and constipation after a badly combined meal, they blame
the nuts, seeds, tomatoes, fruit, broccoli and raw
vegetables.

Nothing could be farther from the truth.

That is like saying umbrellas cause rain because they're
usually out while it's raining.

So, Howard (and the rest of you), these foods are NOT the
cause of the problem!

I eat them every single day without pain (even though my
gastroenterologist told me 16 years ago that I couldn't),
and so do thousands of my clients all over the world.

It's processed, acidic, poorly combined foods that are the
enemy.  They are what cause you pain, suffering and
disease.  They are what you must stay away from if you ever
want a chance at a pain-free, energy-filled life.

In Great Taste No Pain
- http://greattastenopain.com/great.asp I'll teach you
exactly what processed, acidic foods are and walk you step
by step through the easy proper food combining principles.
You can use these simple principles anywhere you happen to
be (home, work, school, dining out, traveling).

Plus you'll see that you can continue to eat foods you
already love...as long as you combine them correctly.

Start your pain-free life today.

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

PS:  Barbara can now eat "no-no foods" and feels great:

*******************

Dear Sherry,

I can't tell you how my life has changed since being on
your program.

The past ten years all I have been able to eat was protein
and high fat food.

I could not eat fruit, vegetables, fiber of any kind, even
oat or bran (the total opposite of your program).  It's not
that I didn't try to eat healthy, but I would pay dearly
when I did eat healthy food, no matter how slowly I tried
to implement the healthy food in my diet.

I am now eating everything on your plan and I have not had
any set backs.  I even ate a salad the other day and my
daughter almost fell off her chair when she saw me eat it!

God bless you for giving me my healthy life back.

Barbara from Florida
