Dave's Nexium Nightmare is over

On Friday I got a letter that touched my heart and at the
same time saddened me.

This man (Dave) suffered from heartburn for years, and
then more recently gas, bloating and constipation.

Every trip to the doctor meant test after test, drug after
drug, with no REAL answer to his misery.

Until he decided to do some research and found his own
answers.

See what he says:

*******************

Hi Sherry:

I'm 40 years old and disabled due to severe Scoliosis.  I
was suffering from really bad heartburn for years.  It got
so bad that it was making me sick in the middle of the
night and every time I bent over or burped I was getting
foul acid in my mouth.

I couldn't stand it any longer, so I went to a specialist
and got scoped.  What he found scared me beyond words.  He
said that had I waited any longer I was going to get cancer
in my esophagus and that I was lucky that I saw him when I
did (this was almost five years ago).

He gave me some pills that didn't work so he put me on
Nexium for it.  It helped but I had no idea of all the
problems I would be facing later on after being on it for
awhile.  I asked him back then how long I would need to be
on it and he said forever.

So like everyone else I took my pill everyday because I
listened to my doctor who is supposed to know the best
treatment for me.  I have been on Nexium for the last 4 1/2
years.  This brings me up to the last little while.

About 6 months ago I started having serious problems going
to the bathroom, being bloated all the time and having
severe pain.  I went to my family doctor and she told me to
take over the counter gas pills.

Again being dumb I listened to her.  Well after 3 months
of no relief I went back.  She then thought it was my
gallbladder so she sent me for tests, and they came back
normal.

Well now it was 6 months from first seeing her about this
problem and nothing was done to relieve my symptoms, and I
was still only having a bowel movement once a week.

At this point I had enough and went back to see the
specialist that put me on Nexium.  Of course that meant
more scopes, this time in both ends.  I still haven't seen
the results, but the doctor said things looked really good.

After a couple days at home after being so cleaned out
from the prep I was still not having regular bm's.  So I
went on the computer and did some research about what could
be going on with me.

I found that Nexium is supposed to be taken for only a
short period of time, and is not designed to be used
forever.  I had no idea of the problems that this drug
creates for people that have been on it for such a long
time like myself.

I thought there must be a solution to my problems.  After
hours upon hours of reading other stories about people on
Nexium I came across your site.

I read your whole site and thought I would give it a shot.
It made sense--eat better and feel better too.

I was unsure at first because I'm a real hard ass when it
comes to believing things I find on the internet.  But I
decided to try your system, and after two days I took
myself off the Nexium to see what was going to happen to me.

What I found is that I can now bend and burp without
anything coming back up.  My heartburn is gone.  My
bloating and pain is totally gone and my stomach is now
flat again instead of sticking out a half a mile and being
like a rock.

My bowel movements are still not quite normal, but I think
that is the Nexium still in me.  Hopefully I will be normal
soon on that aspect.

I also have more energy to do things instead of laying
around like I was.

It has been 9 days since I went off the Nexium and I'm
hoping that I will never have to take that again.  I'm even
eating food that I normally would not eat before just so I
can stay drug free.

I ordered your complete system and I would like to say
that it is worth the money that I spent.  I'm sure if I
stick with it, I will have a better, happier life.  It has
taught me how to eat a lot better then I was.

The last thing that I would like to say is that your
customer support people are great to deal with.

Thank you for creating an easy to follow system for people
to use.  Maybe if everyone was eating like this, it would
be a better planet to live on.  Everyone would be happier
maybe, just a thought...

Take care.

SB:  Dave, you're right on.  There would be a LOT fewer
unhappy people if everyone followed what I teach in GTNP.

And you're also correct about the constipation from Nexium-
-its side effects include headache, diarrhea, nausea, gas,
stomach pain and constipation.

That's because Nexium "works" by stopping your stomach
from secreting acid.  But since your stomach needs acid to
digest proteins, what Nexium (and other antacids, H2
blockers and PPI's) does is wreck your digestive process.

===

Now, for everyone else:

Are you taking Nexium, Prevacid, Zantac or other acid
reflux drug and wondering why you're constipated, have
headaches, gas, etc.?  Wonder no longer--the answer is in
your pill bottle.

Now notice that Dave didn't mention ever once being asked
about what he ate, even from his specialist.  Just drug
after drug and test after test, with a cancer scare in
there for good measure.

Thank goodness Dave learned the importance of eating to
keep acid low in his body.  He and hundreds of thousands of
others are living proof of how great it will make you feel.

PS: Judy "binned" (tossed) the pills she took for years:

*******************

Dear Sherry,

I have been on your program since 2/2/09 and have had
wonderful results.

I had been taking Norvasc and Rani 2 for years.  The tummy
pain became worse and I went to the doctor who changed my
script to Nexium.  It seemed to help for a while then the
pain came back.

My son suggested I check my diet, and that's when I found
you on line.

I have binned both tablets and am feeling fine, no pain.

God bless you and thanks again.

Judy Johnson
