3 drug effects and 2 rapid healings

Go to the doctor for any ache or pain and there's a 99.9%
chance you'll walk out carrying a little white slip of
paper (or 2 or 3).

The medical community's focus on drugs as the sole method
of treatment for sickness or disease has caused:
1- people to suffer a tidal wave of new symptoms (side
effects)
2- the development of drug-resistant infections and
3- hundreds of thousands of deaths each year (according to
the Journal of the American Medical Association)

What most people don't realize is that drugs are
chemicals.  And putting chemicals into your body is never a
"free ride"--there is ALWAYS an effect.

I got a letter from a client (Jane) who saw that first
hand.  She was on nsaids (anti-inflammatories) for an ankle
injury and Prilosec for indigestion and didn't realize what
they were doing to her...

...until she tried a more natural approach.

Here's her story:

Sherry:

Although I have been on your plan for 3 months I was
unable to reap the full benefits until I was able to stop
the non steroidal anti-inflammatory that I was taking for
pain from an injured ankle.

After visiting a holistic doctor who was thrilled I was on
your plan, we set up some other natural measures to let me
come off the nsaids and then the Prilosec.

Now I understand fully what my diet does for my digestion.
If I waiver from your plan I will experience indigestion,
but never like I did before.  Being free of Prilosec and
nsaids has made a huge difference.

For those who are on your plan, it is good to consider the
medications you are on and look for more natural means of
dealing with joint pain and pain from injuries.

Dealing with this has allowed me to really reap the
benefits of the GTNP's ability to keep me free from
indigestion and thus to get off the medications which keep
my body from fully utilizing the good nutrients that the
plan offers.

I am now fully recovered from all medicines and my pain
and constipation are over.  Thanks for the plan and I am
now 100% convinced that it definitely works.  I am a new
person.  Yea for no drugs.

Jane

SB:  Jane is right on.  Drugs are chemicals--they affect
your body's ability to do what it's supposed to do, and can
actually prevent you from feeling normal.

For instance, common side effects of the nsaids Jane was
taking are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation,
dizziness and headaches.

Plus long-term use of nsaids leads to stomach ulcers.

Isn't it nuts that more natural means are never even
considered by 99% of the medical community as if nothing
besides prescription drugs even exist?

Prilosec and other PPIs (proton pump inhibitors) shut down
the acid pumps in your stomach, which causes poor digestion
of food (because your stomach needs acid to digest
proteins).

When your food isn't digested as it should be, your body
doesn't get the nutrients it needs, plus it's more
difficult for food to travel through the intestines.  This
leads to constipation, diarrhea and can result in
diverticulosis.

So you can see Jane was in a vicious cycle.  She was
eating right, but the effects of the drug treatment were
too strong.  They kept undoing any progress she would make,
they made her sick and kept her body in a state of
inflammation and acidosis.

The great news is that by eating the way I teach in Great
Taste No Pain
- http://www.greattastenopain.com/great.asp Jane is
naturally reducing the acidity and inflammation in her
body.

Easing the inflammation will help her ankle injury heal,
and make it far less likely that she'll need any more
nsaids in the future.

In addition, now that Jane's digestion is more efficient,
she's getting the benefit of the nutrients from her foods,
has no more indigestion, and therefore, no need for Prilosec.

Jane is also fortunate to have found a holistic doctor who
believes in a natural approach to healing the body.

Because if she were to have stayed with her regular
doctor, I suspect she would be on the white coat treadmill
for many years to come, being given one drug after another
with her health suffering badly as a result.

Let Jane's story be an inspiration to you.  Look for
alternatives to prescription chemicals.  Seek out holistic
practitioners in your area.

*******************

Hi Sherry -

I am sure you hear this all the time, but I too need to
sing your praise as well as the GTNP program.

My story might be a 'tad' different.  I never struggled to
have a bowel movement.  From what the doctors say, my
'condition' is due partly from having such a hurried,
worried and stressful lifestyle.  Over time my system
finally said enough.

I have been suffering from pains like everyone else, along
with bloating, fever, chills and misery which would last a
good solid 3-4 days.  Eating would be out of the question.
Liquids were just as bad.  These attacks would happen 2-3
times a month easily.

I had gone to a Gastroenterologist for 1 1/2 years and
have 'been violated' with every test there is to be.  Been
prescribed items such as 'Bella donna' and then 'Bentyl'
which did no good.  I might as well have eaten M&M's.

Finally the doctor prescribed me an anti-anxiety pill.
This was not the route I wanted to go.  Even with taking it,
the attacks continued.

The final straw was when it was my birthday weekend and
this episode hit so fast and so hard, that in 1 hour I was
down for the count.

I called my Gastroenterologist immediately and all he
suggested was, 'Oh just take a few more anti-anxiety pills
and call me back if you have to.'  And he suggested I quit
my job and get a divorce.  WHATTT???  THAT was it.

My husband ended up having to rush me to emergency.  The
doctors there could not understand why I haven't even had
any form of antibiotics to assist in the infections during
these years and suggest to find yet 'another doctor' after
this attack subsided.

From there I took my health back into my own hands.  I
always was a health conscious person, watched my weight,
did the occasional work out etc., so this ailment was truly
debilitating.

I was surfing the internet and by the GRACE OF HEAVEN I
found your GTNP program.  I signed up right then and there.

It has now been 3 weeks since I started the program.  I
admit the first week I was still not feeling the
greatest...but day by day, I have been feeling better and
stronger!

The BEST part.. is now it has been 3 WEEKS and no PAIN!!!
In fact this weeked, I made time 'just for me' and went on
a mini-holiday to Palm Springs where I sat and relaxed and
then started to swim laps in the pool.

I found myself in the lounge chair, with sun hat,
sunscreen and a big smile on my face thinking, "Hello
Suzanne, its nice to have you back."

Thank you Sherry for bring back a life I once knew and
enjoyed.

I look forward each day and night being pain free.

Your fan,

Suzanne S.
