Viv struggled for over 50 years with weight. And to make
matters worse, she fell back into bad eating habits after
the gastric surgeries she had which hit her body even harder.
A shocking story that shows:
1- How frightening drug therapy can be
2- How fast the body will respond and repair when put back
in balance
Here's Viv's story:

Good afternoon Sherry:
I write to you having followed your plan for only 8 days,
and I have to say I cannot believe that I have had the
success I have enjoyed in such a short period of time.
Who would think it possible?
For most of my life (I have just had the "BIG 5O"
birthday) I have been overweight. In the early 90's I
decided to have a Gastric Bypass operation (stomach
stapling) which provided some success but after a few years
the weight started to creep back on again.
By late 90's Australian knowledge about this type of
surgery had progressed to the Lap Band procedure.
I was part of the first 500 to have the procedure done.
With great success I went from my initial 113 kilos to 64
kilos over a period of a year (249 to 141 pounds). By any
measure I was a success case.
The only problem has been that the "new" me has often been
tempted to eat poorly with the excuse that since I could
not eat much, then I can eat whatever I wanted. Poor
thinking really!
Well my bad habits did catch up with me and over the last
3 years I have had massive acid reflux issues, bowel
movements had reduced to once a week and only with
excruciating pain.
Pain in my knees and my left hip had left me not being
able to get out of bed in the mornings without many a tear
and my partner's help. Every time I ate I was left with a
great burning pain and nothing would relieve it. I also
started to smell differently. All the while I was getting
more and more tired until eventually I needed a blood
transfusion as my iron levels were dangerously low.
The doctors also went down the path of looking for
cervical cancer. With that ruled out, I had a number of
tests to get to the bottom of the problem. Numerous barium
swallows, the band was opened, tubes put down my throat,
pill cameras, gastroscopy and colonoscopy and more.
The best they could tell me was that my esophagus was 75%
ulcerated and I had the helicobactor bug. Added to this I
had a Hiatal hernia. After three attempts to get rid of
the bug with strong antibiotics I was still no better off.
The final solution from the medical profession was Nexium,
which made my legs blow up like elephant legs. This was
then changed to Somac. Somac was slightly better but still
the pain in my calves and my leg swelling continued.
Zantac was easier on my body but this would only last for a
few hours and then I would be popping another just like
mints.
I decided I had nothing to lose so I gave your plan a go.
Not much progress in the first two days and I kept taking
the Zantac to get myself through the day.
On day three of your plan I waited all day ready to pop
those pills but I found I got through it without
medication. Day four and I was thinking it will happen
today. The reflux will come back. But it didn't.
The days have now rolled on and I have gone six days
without medication. The scales show 3 kilos (about 6 1/2
pounds) off in just over a week.
I now have bowel movements every day (without the pain and
bleeding). No more embarrassing moments where I have gas
build up and then have to run to the toilet or I am in
trouble.
This almost seems TOO GOOD to be true!
I am motivated to keep going on the plan you have provided
and would encourage all who have suffered to give your plan
a try, as the medical profession's solution of more pills
has left me disappointed.
Thanks also for the great medical articles you send daily.
They have been great to read and to discuss with other
people in similar positions.
Regards
Viv

SB: Viv, I'm so glad you found Great Taste No Pain. Now
you have the answer that you were missing all those years.
Here's why Viv responded so quickly:
She began to eat in the way that her body could
comfortably and efficiently digest her food with no excess
acid production.
This benefits the body in numerous ways:
* Since the nutrients in your food aren't getting
destroyed by excess acid, you're better nourished.
Therefore, you only feel hungry when you truly need more
food. That helps any excess pounds to slide off and stay
off.
* Good digestion leads to a nice clean colon and
elimination of built up wastes. That means a smaller
number on the scale.
* You'll have a more alkaline pH, and that will mean less
inflammation throughout your body. That helps to alleviate
the joint aches and pains.
* And of course, since the acid reflux is now gone, so is
the need for Nexium, Zantac and Somac and all of their
horrible side effects.
I hope Viv's story was an inspiration to you. If she can
overcome 50 years of excess weight and all the misery from
the surgeries and medications, think of what Great Taste No
Pain can do for you.
