Q: I have ___________ (fill in the blank--ulcers,
colitis, diverticulitis, acid reflux, etc.). Can I still
take Super Shield?
A: Yes. Research has shown that probiotics are extremely
helpful for people with digestive disoders, as well as
weakened immune systems, allergies, chronic infections and
more.
Probiotics are the good bacteria that naturally occur in
your large intestine, so by taking Super Shield you're
giving your body a boost and helping it to work as it was
designed to. And that's especially important when you are
dealing with any kind of illness medical condition.

Q: I am trying to understand this product--is it only for
people that have a problem, or is it a prevention for
anybody?
A: It's essential for everybody.
Many factors affect the balance of flora (bacteria) in
your intestines, including diet, stress, medications,
environmental toxins and not getting enough sleep.
So to think that you don't need a probiotic because you
don't currently have a medical problem is dangerous. I say
that because if the bad bacteria in your gut are
continually allowed to grow out of control, it's only a
matter of time before you DO have a medical problem.

When to take it

Q: When is the best time to take Super Shield? And
should I take it with food?
A: Super Shield is best taken on an empty stomach without
food. That will allow the bacteria to pass into your
intestines easier without getting held up by food in your
stomach. The time of day doesn't matter, although most
people prefer to take it first thing in the morning.

Q: I take a multivitamin and other supplements.
Can/should I still take them with Super Shield?
A: Yes, you can take other vitamins and supplements along
with Super Shield. Super Shield will NOT counteract the
benefits you get from vitamins and other supplements.
As a matter of fact, your system will be able to absorb
the vitamins you take even BETTER with Super Shield because
there will be less bad bacteria crowding the lining of your
intestines and more room for nutrient absorption.

Q: I felt a little gassy and bloated the first couple of
days when taking Super Shield. Is that normal?
A: Yes, it is normal. The gassy, bloated feeling is the
result of some cleansing going on in your colon and the
population of good bacteria growing, so it's a good sign.
It should subside within a few days.

The gel pack was melted/warm

Q: When my order arrived, the gel pack was completely
melted and the bottle of Super Shield felt warm. Are the
cultures "activated" or dead? Is it still OK?
A: It is perfectly fine as long as the bottle has
not been in over 80 degrees for weeks on end.
The Glacier Ice gel packs are NOT supposed to stay frozen.
If they did, it would freeze the bacteria and they would
die. The gel pack is a special 30+ degree formula that
keeps the contents cool (not frozen) for 48-72 hours.
We ship them cool because it's the best thing to do, NOT
because they need it for the entire journey from our
refrigerated storage to your door. They don't. Super
Shield is formulated to have a 36 month shelf life. We
ship them insulated because it simply ensures maximum
potency. Hardly ANY other company takes the extra step
of storing or shipping their probiotics cooled (because

Q: Is Super Shield safe for children - the bottle says
it's not intended for children?

Sherry,
I just wanted to give you some early feedback on Super
Shield.
I started taking it last Friday. On Sunday I was feeling a
bit uncomfortable--bloated and just not quite right. That
continued through the day and then I had what I would term
a minor stomachache during the night. Things seemed to be
