No more diverticulitis attacks ever again
People who have diverticulitis often describe their first
attack as being "hit" with a tremendous, unbearable pain
that came out of nowhere.
That makes sense. Diverticulitis is an infection that
develops in people with diverticulosis (having bulges or
"potholes" in their colon wall). Since diverticulosis many
times doesn't have any symptoms, people don't even know
they have it.
So when an infection forms and it becomes diverticulitis,
it truly does come out of nowhere.
One of the things about diverticulosis (and itis) that
amazes me is that many in the mainstream medical community
claim they aren't sure what causes it.
Come on. That's like saying you don't know why your thumb
hurts after you just banged it with a hammer.
Diverticulosis was unheard of until the early 1900's when
processed, refined, chemical-laced foods were first
introduced as "better living through chemistry."
This meant people began eating WAY less fiber-rich,
nutritious foods than they used to for the thousands of
years prior to that time.
And it affected digestion. Processed foods are extremely
acid-forming and difficult for your body to digest.
Improperly digested food means poor nutrient absorption and
wastes that can't ease on down the road like they should.
As a result, people began having a rough time when nature
called. Constipation, forced bowel movements and wastes
that accumulate along the colon wall became more and more
common. This lead to the formation of bulges or
diverticula along the colon wall...
...and lo and behold, this new disease called
diverticulosis (and diverticulitis) was born.
But the good news here is that you can ease the symptoms
of diverticulitis (or prevent it from occurring in the first
place) by eating alkalizing foods and combining them in the
way the human digestive system needs them combined, like I
teach in Great Taste No Pain.

In Great Taste No Pain, you'll learn what foods to eat
together (and what ones to stay away from) to ensure
effective, thorough digestion. That leads to easier bowel
movements, no straining and no wastes accumulating on the
colon wall--all good news for diverticulitis sufferers.
Judy found out what a difference eating this way made with
her diverticulitis. Here's her story:

Hi Sherry,
I wanted to write and thank you for your wonderful
research and for developing the "Great Taste No Pain"
program.
I was diagnosed in 2005 with diverticulitis when I was
"hit" with it (I felt as though I was being stabbed in my
abdomen) and had to go to the ER. The doctors were
surprised I had it...they said I was "too young," as I was
44 at the time.
They did a CT scan and determined that I had
diverticulitis, with a small perforation in my colon. I
spent 5 agonizing days in the hospital, with IV antibiotics
and not being able to eat for 4 of those days (and only
broth on the 5th day).
Then I was sent home with more antibiotics and
instructions to eat a high fiber diet.
Well, that worked some, but it did flare up from time to
time, and I was always in fear when it would flare up.
I spent many a night doing exercises to aid digestion and
drinking herbal teas and eating probiotic yogurt in the
hopes the pain would go away enough that I could get some
sleep, and that it wouldn't escalate into another visit to
the ER.
So after my latest trip to the ER about 5 weeks ago (my
fourth one), in frustration I searched the internet for
"diverticulosis diets," feeling surely there MUST be a
better way to live....and I found your program!
I tried the 4-day trial plan and couldn't believe how much
better I felt!
Also, I was impressed with how thorough and professional
your program was presented. You really know your stuff!
It was so nice to find someone who's actually been through
all this "medical nonsense" and has a better, proven way of
addressing (and solving!) the problem.
I've purchased your program, have been on it almost a
month now and feel great! I'm not on any medication and
have much more energy too. And, I can sleep through the
night!
Also, you're right when you say these recipes are
delicious...they are!
It really is common sense, eating more alkaline foods vs.
so many acidic foods that are so common in the American
diet. Now I can go out to eat and not worry about whether
I'm going to "pay" for it later that night with pain...not
any more!
I'm also taking the Super Shield probiotic formula, it's
really helping too. I have some friends who also have
digestive/intestinal problems and I'm going to tell them
about this program and hope they give it a try too.
So thank you, thank you for your help...it's made such a
difference in my life!
Best wishes to your continued success and good health,
Judy N.
