Since their discovery back in 1928, antibiotics have
become the unmatched superstars of the medical world.
Multiple Nobel prizes in medicine have been awarded for
antibiotic research, and over 175 million prescriptions are
written for them just in the US alone each year.
They have the magical quality of killing disease-causing
bacteria like a Terminator, so they've saved countless lives.
But they've also caused unimaginable suffering.
It's hard to believe something so good can also be so bad,
but it's true.
You see, in their brutal attack against bad bacteria in
your system, antibiotics also obliterate the good bacteria
your body needs, too.
That's bad, because when the good bacteria in your body
aren't there to protect you from dangerous pathogens and to
keep your immune system strong, you are susceptible to
sickness and disease of all types.
This is why so many people get sicker AFTER taking
antibiotics.
Plus, when your population of good bacteria is low or non-
existent, bad bacteria have the "upper hand" and take over,
causing poor digestion and nutrient absorption as well as
leaky gut syndrome.
(Leaky gut syndrome is where your intestinal wall gets
literally eaten away by bad bacteria and becomes porous.
That allows toxins, wastes, and incompletely digested
proteins to leak out, travel in your bloodstream and cause
pain and inflammation all over your body.)
That's why it's essential to keep your population of good
bacteria strong 365 days a year, especially during and
after antibiotic treatment.
Mary Jane's story says it all. She had a "summer of
horror" after treatment with antibiotics, and finally got
relief once she discovered Super Shield.
See what she writes:

Sherry:
I can't believe that Super Shield probiotic supplements
were produced and first shipped last May, a month before I
began my summer of confusion and horror.
I thought about them all summer and when I finally ordered
them and starting taking two a day at the end of August, I
began to return to normal. Now it is the end of October
and not only is my body almost back to normal but I feel
better than I have felt in years and years.
Clostridium Difficile Colitis hit me two weeks after a
week's dose of Amoxicillin taken for dental surgery. I
suspect that many of my good microbes had already been
destroyed two years earlier when I was given large
intravenous doses of antibiotics for an unknown infection.
In July I spent six days in the hospital with a commode
beside my bed, intravenous supplements in my arm and liquid
vancomycin every six hours. When I came home I had a
relapse and another course of vancomycin.
I took Florastor to replace the good "bugs" but I knew
that Florastor was yeast, good thing to feed the bugs but I
also knew it was the actual good bugs that were missing in
my gut. I was truly a case of bad bugs taking over my
intestinal system. The Wall Street Journal (August 18,
2009) told me this in an article "Gut Reactions: 'Good'
Microbes Under Attack."
My gastroenterologist confirmed that the first two strains
listed on your list (Bifantis and DDS-1) were shown in the
research to counteract C Diff.
I head for the frig and the Super Shield every morning for
my two pills and my dose of good microbes. I know that
repopulating my gut with good bugs is the reason for my
returned good health. I'm seventy-four and now plan to
stay healthy until I reach ninety-nine.
Thanks.
Mary Jane

SB: Mary Jane, I'm glad you're finally feeling better.
I'm also thrilled to hear your gastroenterologist gave his
"thumbs up" to Super Shield! He's a very forward thinking
doctor who clearly cares about what's best for his patients.

Take it from Mary Jane. If you are on or have taken
antibiotics, chances are excellent that your beneficial
bacteria are non-existent.
And even if you haven't needed antibiotics, many other
factors such as an acid-forming diet, toxins in the
environment, lack of sleep, stress and poor bowel movements
can cause an imbalanced gut flora.
Taking Super Shield every day will help to ensure that
your population of good bacteria stays healthy and strong
and...just like Mary Jane, that you feel good until you're
99!
