With summer officially in full swing, no doubt you'll be
going to (or hosting) a backyard barbecue or summer party
or two.
Either way, have I got a recipe for you!
This is for a decadent dessert that will surely earn you
the title of "Master Chocolate Dessert Maker." You will
become famous for this and everyone will be asking you to
make it for ALL occasions.
No worries -- it's easy, scrumptious and even gluten-free!
Now, you might be thinking, "Why is she giving out a
dessert recipe? Isn't she all about eating for great
health?"
Yes, I am. But I'm also all about enjoying your food --
not deprivation. So that includes an occasional sweet or
indulgence.
Notice I said "occasional" -- as in, not every day.
Eating this every day is not good for you at all.
That's why I give you guidelines for eating desserts (and
some delicious dessert recipes) in the Great Taste No Pain
health system.

In Great Taste No Pain, I'll teach you how to enjoy an
occasional sweet treat without suffering with pain or
packing on the pounds.
And since you CAN enjoy an occasional indulgence, you'll
never feel deprived or like you're "dieting."
So without further ado, here is a recipe that will knock
your socks off (and be pain-free if you eat it according
to the guidelines in Great Taste No Pain):
4 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped (I use a Ghirardelli bar)
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder, plus more for dusting pan (use the
dark cocoa powder if you can find it)
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease an 8-inch round cake
pan, then dust with cocoa powder.
In the top of a double boiler over lightly simmering
water, melt chocolate and butter. Remove from heat, stir
in sugar, cocoa powder, eggs and vanilla. Pour into
prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Let cool in pan
for 10 minutes and turn out onto a wire rack if desired.
(It's also fine to serve it right from the pan).
Serve warm topped with whipped cream if desired. Slices
can be reheated in the microwave for 10-15 seconds if
necessary.
Enjoy!
To your health,
Sherry Brescia
PS: Lynne is off Nexium and is enjoying foods she loves:
*******************
Hi Sherry,
Since receiving Great Taste No Pain I have reduced, and am
now finally off Nexium totally for 4 weeks. I have tried
to reduce my dose of Nexium before without success.
Not once since ceasing the drug have I had an attack of
"my goodness I am having a heart attack" heartburn and
reflux at 2 in the morning. I have also lost the bloating
and wind pain.
I am really pleased with GTNP and have even dropped 5.4
kgs (12 pounds).
What amazes me is that it is so easy to use and stay on.
I do not feel at all like I am being deprived of food I love.
I really feel that this is so easy to follow and stay on
for life.
