4 Musts For Skin That's Clearer, Younger, Healthier

You'd have to be living under a rock to not notice that looking
good is a big, BIG, B-I-G business.

Nowhere is this more evident than in the area of someone's complexion.

Walk through the cosmetics section of your favorite fine department store and you'll see this first hand. Lancome, Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Origins, Chanel and many others give you a variety of ways to hide every flaw and make you feel like a fashion model ready for a magazine cover shoot.

Many people also see a dermatologist, especially for acne. But one of the popular dermatologist's solutions for acne is antibiotics. While they can help prevent pimples, they also wreak havoc with the friendly flora in your gut, harming your digestion and weakening your immune system.

And then of course there's the big NEXT step--the plastic surgeon's office. Their offerings include laser resurfacing, Juvederm, Botox, Sculptra and Radiance, to name a few.

Now, there's nothing wrong with wanting to look your best, especially where your face is concerned.

But many people are oblivious to the fact that there are natural measures you can take to make YOUR face look its best that are EXTREMELY effective...

And they're a lot cheaper than cosmetics and antibiotics, and WAAAY cheaper (and far safer) than plastic surgery.

Here are the "Four Facial Favorites" that will help YOU look your absolute best:

1) Drink water

Your body needs water from head to toe, and that includes your skin.

Water provides natural moisture and carries needed nutrients to your skin, and sweeps away waste products, which in turn helps keep your complexion soft and clear.

There are a variety of factors that affect how much water the average person needs (including exercise level and the amount of natural water you get from foods), but a good place to start is to drink at least 5-8 glasses a day.

A good way to tell if you're drinking enough water is to look in the toilet bowl. Your urine should be relatively clear and very light yellow. If it's more opaque and dark yellow (at any time other than first thing in the morning), you need more water.

2) Use Vitamin C cream on your face daily

Recent studies suggest that Vitamin C applied externally to the skin may help stimulate the growth of new collagen.

Applying Vitamin C cream to your face can help plump up wrinkles, restore skin tone and fill in small lines, giving you a more youthful, radiant appearance.

In addition, Vitamin C cream can also help protect your skin from UV light damage and reduce some of the inflammation caused by UV exposure.

Look for creams that contain a 10% concentration of Vitamin C. I use Avalon Organics, but there are many great ones out there and they're far cheaper than any fancy department store moisturizer.

3) Eat your fruits and veggies

A recent six-week study suggests eating produce is an all-natural way to make your skin look more attractive.

Healthier and rosier-looking skin was linked with an increase of just one portion of fruit and vegetables a day. The researchers observed that skin tone changes occurred over a relatively short time period too!

They suggest it's the carotenoids (the red, yellow, and orange pigments in fruits and vegetables) that play an important role in your skin tone.

Foods such as carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, and apricots are rich in the carotenoid beta-carotene, as are some dark green vegetables, including spinach and kale. Another carotenoid is lycopene, which is found in tomatoes and pink grapefruits.

4) Keep your pH more alkaline

All of your organs, bones and tissues work ideally in an alkaline environment (in other words, when you have a slightly alkaline pH).

And that includes your biggest organ--your skin.

Plus like the rest of your body, your skin MUST get the nutrients and antioxidants it needs to look and stay healthy.

So that means you can't expect to look good if you eat junk and are toxic.

If you exist on mainly processed food, fast food, soda or meal combinations that create an acid pH in your system, you can count on a lousy complexion and/or poor skin tone.

No matter how many Juvederms you undergo.

Plus eating this way reduces nutrient absorption, so your precious face (and the rest of your body) will not be getting what it needs.

And all the makeup in the world can't change that.

To look your best, you HAVE to eat the foods that give your body the nutrients it needs and keep acid wastes low.

Vegetables. Fruits. Lean meats and fish. Water. Nuts and healthy oils. All in combinations that are easy for your body to digest.

And that is what you will learn to do when you use the Great Taste No Pain system.

The GTNP manual "How To End Stomach Pain Forever, Even If Your MD Says, 'No Way!'" explains the health price that you pay with a junk food/acid-creating diet--you will be shocked to see all the ways your diet choices affect your health (and your skin).

It also shows you the exact foods to eat (and which ones to pair together) for better health (and a more radiant complexion).

The recipe book makes eating right tasty for the tongue too. It's loaded with easy, delicious recipes that will soon become your favorites.

And if you have gluten issues, no worries. Great Taste No Gluten will give you all the same food pairing information as Great Taste No Pain, plus you'll get a collection of scrumptious gluten free recipes.

Get the system that's right for you and use it.

Take care of your face naturally, and you'll be very happy when you look in the mirror.

And don't be surprised when someone comes up to you and says, "Wow--you're looking better and more radiant every day!"

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

PS: To help attain and maintain an alkaline pH and get nutrients your skin needs to look its best, it's also crucial to have efficient digestion. Sometimes a good diet isn't enough, especially if you're under a lot of stress or take medications. Super Shield probiotic formula can help keep digestion smooth and counteract the effects on your gut from stress and medicines (especially antibiotics you may have taken for acne). Learn more about Super Shield here.

As we age, our supply of digestive enzymes decreases. This is especially true for people who eat lots of processed food and hard to digest meals. Foods such as these require LOTS of enzymes to break them down and over time your body's ability to produce enough enzymes is diminished. Nothing can make you feel older than gas, bloating, heartburn and constipation from ineffective digestion and too few enzymes. Give your body the support it needs and feel great inside with Digestizol Max natural digestive enzyme supplement.  Learn more about Digestizol Max and all the ways it can help you here.
